The Port of Cromarty Firth is one of the deepest and most sheltered in the whole of the UK and offers guaranteed access for a quick vessel turnaround.

The Port’s sheltered deep waters are accessible 24/7/365, with no tidal constraints.

Depths alongside are up to 13.5m.

There are also a number of designated sheltered deepwater anchorages in the Firth; commonly used for vessels and both jack up and semi-submersible rigs. The bottom provides good holding ground. Swinging anchorages are allocated outside the Sutors in the Moray Firth for vessels awaiting berths and employment.
